Growing up in Alaska gave Jeffrey inspiration and an appreciation for design from nature. He fell in love with San Francisco and the Bay Area and has made it his home for 30 years. For 15 years he worked in the food industry, developing an appreciation for food and cuisine styles, and loves the fusion of food and design. This led Jeffrey to study hairdressing and joined diPietro Todd in 1995, first at the Union Square salon and then as part of the team opening the Palo Alto salon in June 1998.
He draws his inspirations from nature, fashion and architecture, and is influenced by colors, shapes, modern and art deco styles. One of his great inspirations in the world of hair was being a network educator, training at Bumble & Bumble Academy in New York City at various times from 2003-2007. There he learned new techniques for razor and scissor cuts, providing unique hair design possibilities. In NYC, he also explored the fusion of fashion and hair and enjoys bringing a variety of choices and styles to clients. Jeffrey enjoys continued exploration of hair and design through ongoing courses at the diPietro Todd Academy, allowing him to bring fresh styles and a personal touch to make his clients look their best.
